SPAIN END ITALY'S 38 GAME UNBEATEN STREAK. QUALIFY FOR THE FINAL.

Milan, Italy.

In what was a game of extremely high intensity, it was the Spaniards that emerged victorious at the Guiseppe Meazza as two goals from Ferran Torres forced the Italians to accept their first loss since 10th September 2018 when they lost against defending champions Portugal in the semi-final.

A young Spanish squad was geared for revenge after Manchini's men eliminated Luis Enrique's young side from the Euro2020 tournament before eventually winning the tournament.
There were a few new faces on the Spanish squad, most notably Pablo Gavi, the 17-year-old midfield prodigy from FC Barcelona who started in his first appearance for his country.

Both Roberto Manchini and Luis Enrique decided to go for a classic 4-3-3 At 17 minutes, Ferran Torres struck a wonderful volley from a Mikel Oyarzabal cross.

Things, however, didn't improve for the Italians as Captain Leonardo Bonucci was sent off after a second yellow card for the foul on Spanish captain Sergio Busquets. Minutes later, Torres beat Gianluigi Donnarumma again to give his side a two-goal lead heading into halftime.

At the beginning of the second half, it seemed that Spain would score another and came close to do so in Marcos Alonso, only to be denied by Donnaruma. Italy got one back through a brilliant Federico Chiesa run from halfway and found Lorenzo Pellegrini who tapped it into Unai Simon's goal but unfortunately, it wasn't enough as La Roja now qualifies for the final to be played on Sunday. All eyes are now on the World Champions France who will take on the World's No.1 side in Belgium.
